Michael Bedford Showcase Closing Party - The Artist Series

We thank our third artist in The Artist Series – Michael Bedford.
Join us for his closing showcase party in partnership with the CONTACT Photography Festival.
The exhibition has run for several weeks, offering an opportunity to experience and acquire Michael’s captivating work. And with that, all good things come to a close.
Michael Bedford is a fine art photographer and painter living in Toronto. Trained as a biologist, Michael’s work explores aspects of both the human psyche and the natural world. This new collection, Light and Lack Thereof, explores the duality of light and darkness. Michael uses seasonality, light, and darkness to explore various aspects of the human experience, including awe, reverence, isolation, and disconnection. His images are shot primarily on 35mm film using a vintage camera he bought when he was 15 years old.
