Based in Toronto Ontario, BELLA is a mixed media artist working primarily in acrylic paint. Her abstract works burst with funky shapes, outer-worldly figures, bold gradients, and vibrant primary colors. Inspired by movement, unique forms, and the wonder of the mind — from cosmic space to the waves of the ocean — she creates playful yet profound worlds of imagination. Alongside her studio practice, BELLA is an after-school art program teacher, passionately sharing creativity with young artists while continually expanding their own.
"I believe painting is something everyone should experience once in your life. Doesn’t matter if you're good or bad at it. It’s a way to occupy your mind and shut off the world for a moment. From simple, to more complex pieces, I hope my work inspires everyone to pick up a brush and try something new.
